Digital Media Development 12 will focus on building on the skill sets learned in Digital Media Design 11 and/or Digital Communications 11. Through activities and projects, students will develop digital content using standard forms of 2D graphics, 3D modelling, video editing applications, digital animation, sound and web content, as well as other web-based resources. Students will continue to build and develop a personal portfolio collection of visuals, graphics and personal design work. Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate (animation), Maya (modeling, texturing), Dreamweaver / HTML (web design), Adobe Premiere (video & sound editing), Audacity / open source sound tools are some of the industry applications that may be included. This course will provide students with more advanced development in a variety of technology skills and is ideal for all students that are interested in being creative with digital media design & technology.
